Rhoney Has a Career High Four Hits

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Bailey Rhoney went 4-for-4 at the plate for Charlotte, but Marshall used a six-run third inning en route to a 7-5 victory Sunday at Dot Hicks Field.

Charlotte outhit Marshall 11-8, as five of the nine starters tallied one hit each, to go along with Rhoney's four and two by Haley Pace. The Niners have recorded 11 hits in two of their last four games, just one off the season high of 12, which came against Louisiana Tech on April 8. This is the first time in Rhoney's career she has had more than three hits in a contest and becomes the first 49er to bang out four hits in a game this season.
