Charlotte, N.C. -- Charlotte redshirt senior quarterback threw for 339 yards and four touchdowns to break the school's all-time record for career passing TDs. But it was his one-yard TD run with with 4:00 left that gave the 49ers (3-1; C-USA: 1-0) a 42-39 Conference USA victory over visiting Middle Tennessee (2-2; C-USA 0-2), Friday night at Jerry Richardson Stadium.
"Tonight, it wasn't always pretty," said 49ers head coach . "Your talking 1000 yards and 81 points. There's a lot of different range of emotions that go through 81 points and 1000 yards of offense in a game - but still a confidence that we're going to find a way to win this football game.
