Regular Season Concludes with Mid-Week Match

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte women's tennis will put a stamp on its regular-season slate at 2 p.m. Wednesday when it plays host to Campbell at the Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex. It will be the 10th home match of the campaign for the 49ers, including nine at the on-campus facility.

The Niners bring an 8-11 ledger into the contest after defeating Davidson Friday in their most-recent performance. The two sides only played singles and Charlotte prevailed 4-2 on the strength of winning each of the top-three positions to snap the Wildcats' 10-match win streak. Freshman Rocio Safont, who clinched the triumph, became the first opponent this year to defeat the 'Cats Lindsay Song in singles action.
