DURHAM, N.C. - Despite an inclement weather delay in the middle of the day, the Charlotte Track & Field team posted a couple record book-altering results and event wins on the first day of the Duke Invitational at the Morris Williams Track and Field Stadium on Friday.

The men's 110-meter hurdles prelims got the day started and three Niners delivered noteworthy performances. BJ Kendrick topped his heat with a time of 14.87 seconds to qualify for tomorrow's finals while Drew Barker (14.60 seconds) and Robert Yardley (16.04 seconds) both earned personal bests.
