Charlotte 49ers redshirt junior quarterback Chris Reynolds has been named to the Watch List for the 2020 Maxwell Award, which is presented annually to the Most Outstanding Player in College Football.
Reynolds is the first 49ers player in school history to be named to the college player of the year award's watch list.
He joins teammates WR Victor Tucker (Biletnikoff Award; top receiver), C Jaelin Fisher (Outland Trophy; top interior lineman) and DE Tyriq Harris (Wuerffel Trophy; Community Service) on 2020 National College Football Awards Association (NCFAA) Award Watch Lists.
