Larry Ogunjobi has shown how hard work can pay off. After being drafted in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns, the defensive tackle has played a pivotal role in the team's turnaround to a 7-8-1 record. During the 16 games he started in the 2018 season, Ogunjobi tallied 52 total tackles, 10 TFL, 5.5 sacks and one forced fumble.
The former 49er, who earned first team all-Conference USA honors in 2016, visited campus recently to sign autographs for fans and throw out the first pitch at baseball's opening day.
