CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte women's basketball will welcome its former players back as part of its Alumnae Day in addition to taking part in the Play4Kay celebration Sunday afternoon when the 49ers play host to Old Dominion. The Niners and Lady Monarchs are set to tip at 1 p.m. from Halton Arena in a nationally-televised contest on the American Sports Network.
The annual Alumnae Day continues to grow each year and this year it's expected to be no different. Former players, managers and associates of the program are invited back to take part in a luncheon prior to the game with an on-court recognition at halftime.
