CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Dominic Pilolli had a hand in either bringing in or scoring nine of the 10 runs on Saturday as Charlotte swept a doubleheader from UMBC 6-1 and 4-0 at Hayes Stadium. The 49ers climb to 4-3 on the year while the Retrievers fall to 0-3.
"I'm really proud of our guys," began Head Coach Robert Woodard. "Doubleheaders are really hard to manage and it's a long day, but our guys came ready to play. Only having to use four arms in a doubleheader is huge and we got two good starts from Czanstkowski and Roach.
