DALLAS – The weekly accolades kept rolling in for the Charlotte women's basketball program Monday, as redshirt junior Jade Phillips is the latest to be honored with the March 4 Conference USA Player of the Week award, the league has announced. It marks the first weekly plaudit of her career and first player honor for the Niners, this year.
Phillips, who is competing in her first season with the 49ers after transferring from Syracuse, dominated the scoresheet in Saturday's 62-53 victory at FIU. She set career highs with 32 points and 15 rebounds for her team-leading fifth double-double of the campaign, and second in league action.
