INDIANAPOLIS – Charlotte women's basketball redshirt junior guard Jade Phillips continued to stock pile her awards, this week, as she was included Wednesday on the NCAA Starting Five as one of the top national performers. It marks her third accolade since Monday, when she was voted the Conference USA Player of the Week and also the league's top weekly player from College Sports Madness.
Phillips' plaudits come after she put together a career performance Saturday at FIU, registering her fifth double-double with 32 points and 15 rebounds, both career bests, in the 62-53 road win over the Panthers.
