CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte women's tennis, which is coming off a come-from-behind victory in its last outing, will look to extend that momentum into two road matches this weekend in the low country portion of South Carolina. The 49ers will begin the stretch at 1 p.m. Friday in Orangeburg against South Carolina State before meeting up with College of Charleston at 10 a.m. Saturday in Mt. Pleasant.
"We are looking forward to competing against two strong teams on the road this weekend," head coach Michaela Gorman said.
The Niners knocked off Grand Canyon Friday in their last appearance on the courts, improving to 8-5 this spring.
