IRVING, Texas - Junior shortstop Haley Pace has been named to the 2017 All-Conference USA First Team and junior pitcher Haley Wiseman was named to the All-Conference USA Second Team, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon following a vote by the league's head coaches.
Pace has been not only one of the best players in the conference, but one of the best players in the nation this season. Through 51 regular season games, the Winston-Salem native is batting .421 with a school-record 51 runs scored, 12 doubles, four triples, a school-record 15 home runs, 45 runs batted in and 19 stolen bases.
