Charlotte, N.C. - Charlotte IMG Sports Marketing and Davidson Sports Properties are proud to partner with OrthoCarolina to present the 2017 Battle for the Hornet's Nest on Tuesday, November 28th at 7p.m. This year's game, which will be played in Charlotte's Halton Arena, will be the 44th meeting between the two teams. Charlotte leads the all-time series, 28-15.
The Hornet's Nest series began in the 1979-80 season. Davidson won the 2016 Battle for the Hornet's Nest, in Davidson's John M Belk Arena.
Following the game, representatives from OrthoCarolina will present the Hornet's Nest trophy to the winning team.
