The redshirt junior scored a career-high 30 points on eight three-pointers as Charlotte defeated Rice 88-75 in Houston.
Andrien White began the game on fire, scoring five consecutive points to give the 49ers an early 10-4 lead. Ogbueze connected on his first three soon after to spark a 10-2 run as Charlotte would extend their lead to double-digits at 24-12. That would be the largest lead of the half for Charlotte. With the 49ers up 35-25 with five minutes left, Rice would nine of the next 13 points to cut the lead down to four.
