DURHAM, N.C. – (RV) Charlotte softball picked up its third straight victory Wednesday, defeating NC Central 6-1 in Durham. The team improves to 16-4 on the season, while NCCU remains winless.
Just 20 games into the year, the squad collected their 45th stolen base of the season, tying the total from last season and surpassing 18 others
The 49ers offense was led by freshman Emma Ocker, who collected her second three-hit game of the year, where she belted a double and also scored twice. Classmate Kiersten Berrier also scored twice in the contest.
