Charlotte, N.C. - Charlotte head football coach Will Healy has announced the signing of 17 high school standouts on the first day of the sports' national signing period. The class includes eight offensive players, eight defensive players and a punter who played Australian League Football. Twelve recruits come from the 49ers' immediate recruiting area of North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and Virginia.
"Culture-builders. Program-builders. This class can take us where we want to go," said Healy, who begins his third year with the 49ers in 2021. "I'm really excited about this class. When it's all said and done, I believe it will be one of the top classes in Conference USA.
