CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The annual Normies event was moved to a virtual setting Thursday night but that didn't stop the Charlotte 49ers from recognizing the top student-athletes from this past year as the awards ceremony was presented by the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
Football quarterback Chris Reynolds and women's soccer midfielder/forward Michaella Arteta served as hosts, representing SAAC. Several of the Charlotte teams announced their season MVPs and Coaches Award recipients, while the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee featured outstanding participation in community service and life skills. Awards for top academic performances were also highlighted by the Athletic Academic Center.
