CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte women's soccer team will play its final non-conference match of the 2016 campaign at 2 p.m. Sunday in Greenville, as it will face in-state foe East Carolina.
The 49ers finished unbeaten at home during the non-conference slate after picking up a 2-1 overtime victory over Elon Thursday night. Charlotte is 4-3 overall entering Sunday's action but boasts a 4-0 mark in the Queen City with two of its setbacks coming to Top 25 opponents.
It marks the second time in the last three seasons the 49ers completed an unblemished ledger at home during the non-conference portion of the slate.
