CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Friday night's grind in Conference USA came down to the final points of the final set before UTSA held on for a 3-2 (25-19, 18-25, 24-26, 25-19, 15-13) victory over Charlotte. The five-setter became a new school-record for Charlotte playing in their 11th of the year in 24 matches.
"I thought we did a great job tonight," began Head Coach Karen Weatherington. "It wasn't the peak of our play tonight. We didn't have everything clicking the way we would have liked, but I love that we found ways to find points.
