KANSAS CITY, Mo. –Three members of the Charlotte 49ers nationally-ranked men's soccer program earned United Soccer Coaches Scholar honors.
Redshirt senior defender Patrick Hogan and junior forward Preston Popp were named United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-Americans. Hogan was a first team selection while Popp was named to the second team.
Hogan, Popp, and junior forward Alex Willis were named to United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-Region team.
This season, Hogan, Popp, and Willis played integral roles in helping the 49ers make their 15th trip to the NCAA Tournament while being nationally ranked for the majority of the season.
