Charlotte, N.C. – Behind 11 singles wins and five doubles wins, the Charlotte 49ers (5-2) swept a doubleheader with a 7-0 win over UNC Asheville and a 6-1 win over South Carolina State at the Lifetime Fitness, the Onyx Premier Club. The 49ers have won five straight matches.
In the UNC Asheville match, Charlotte won two of the three doubles matches to claim the doubles point. At number three doubles, Charlotte's Alejandro Garcia Moreno and Oriol Puig Forne defeated UNC Asheville's Andrew Sinai and James Massie, 6-1. At number one doubles, Charlotte's Luca Keist and Constandinos Christoforou lost to UNC Asheville's Henry Patten and Olly Cull, 6-4.
