BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Charlotte women's soccer extended its win streak to six and remained in sole possession of first place in the Conference USA standings after earning a 2-1 victory at UAB Thursday night in its final regular-season road match of the season.

In their first contest since moving into first place in the conference race Sunday, the Niners remained in the top position with Thursday's triumph and upped their point total to 18. Second place is currently being held by Florida Atlantic, who tied Old Dominion Thursday night, with 13 points and a 4-1-1 league mark.
