CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte women’s tennis will look to extend its win streak on its home courts Friday afternoon when it plays host to Davidson. First serve at the Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex is set for 3 p.m. in the cross-county contest.
Charlotte has won its last two matches at the facility, including starting the current homestand with a 4-3 triumph over Campbell Wednesday. The 49ers rallied after dropping the doubles point to win their four points in singles, including two in three sets to clinch the victory.
“We are coming off a great 4-3 win over Campbell Wednesday on our home courts,” head coach Michaela Gorman said.
