UPTOWN CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte 49ers put together their best ballgame in the young six-game history of playing at BB&T Ballpark cruising past Wake Forest 13-1 on Tuesday night. The Niners scored in five of their nine innings in which four of those saw at-least two runs come across.
"Tonight was a good night," began Head Coach Loren Hibbs. "We had an extended team meeting on Sunday, talked about some things, got some work in and we were ready to play. Outside of a few games this year, we've had a pretty good offensive team and we got on a good roll early in the game.
