CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte women's tennis will step back onto the Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex courts at 11 a.m. Friday against an opponent it has never faced in program history, Grand Canyon. One of the newest Division I members across the country, the Antelopes are embarking on an East Coast swing of their own with a Thursday match in Boone against Appalachian State prior to arriving in the Queen City.
The 49ers are looking to snap a two-match skid with both losses on the road dropping their season record to 7-5. Charlotte remains 4-1 on its home courts in 2017, most recently a triumph Friday over UNC Greensboro.
