Charlotte shot its second straight 11-under par, 277 to pull away from the field and take home an 11-stroke championship at the Linger Longer Invitational. Charlotte's John Gough claimed the individual title by one stroke with a 13-under, 203 at the Great Waters Course.
Charlotte, which led by five strokes after the second round, extended that lead in the final round by carding the best score of the day for the second straight round.
"What a great win for these guys and this team," said 49ers head coach Ryan Cabbage. "They were so solid all three rounds.
