RALEIGH, N.C. - On the first day of the Raleigh Relays hosted by NC State, the 49ers totaled 10 personal records and had two top-10 performances, highlighted by runs from Alex Cornwell and Hunter White in the 5000m.
The distance squad got things started Thursday evening with the men's 1500m. Jacob Gallant was the top Charlotte finisher in the 1500m after running a personal record time of 3:51.87, which now ranks ninth in school outdoor history. Tim Haughton was close behind with a PR time of 3:52.06, which just ranks outside of the top-10 performance list.
