ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – Charlotte women’s tennis used momentum from picking up the doubles point to earn a 5-2 triumph over Creighton Monday night at the Sanlando Park in Altamonte Springs, Florida. The 49ers are in the Sunshine State this week to play two matches during Spring break.
The Niners opened the match with the Bluejays by claiming a win in the two doubles matches that finished to take the point and 1-0 edge.
The No. 3 tandem of senior Tyler Baker and junior Macy Vonderschmidt started things off with a 6-2 win against Karlin Naslund and Katherine Nelson.
