Charlotte, N.C. – The Charlotte 49ers (14-4-1) men's soccer team host the Sun Belt Conference Champion Georgia State Panthers (11-6-2) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at Transamerica Field, Thursday, November 15 at 7 pm.
NCAA Tournament History
The 49ers are making their 13th overall appearance in the NCAA Tournament. The 49ers have been a national seed in three of the last five NCAA Tournaments. Charlotte has reached the College Cup twice in 1996 and 2011, where the 49ers reached the College Cup Finals. Thursday's game marks the 14th NCAA Tournament game that Charlotte has hosted in the program's history.
