CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte women's tennis will continue its fall tournament campaign this weekend along the Atlantic Ocean, as it travels to Wilmington for the Seahawk Invitational. The event will take place at the UNCW Courts Friday-Sunday.
The 49ers are slated to face three opponents in round-robin, hidden dual format in singles play. Charlotte will open the event at 9 a.m. Friday against Virginia Tech and former Niners head coach Terry Ann Zawacki-Woods, who was in charge of the Charlotte program from 2001-03 before current head coach Michaela Gorman took the reins.
