Niners fall at home; remain tied for first place

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte women's basketball started slow, recovered but never unable to complete the comeback in dropping a 55-52 decision to Rice Saturday evening inside Halton Arena. Despite the setback, the 49ers are still in a three-way tie for first in the Conference USA race and hold the league's best overall record.

LEADERS
Redshirt junior Nyilah Jamison-Myers topped the Niners' in the scoring column with 16 points, while senior Lefty Webster was the only other Charlotte (15-5, 7-2 C-USA) player to reach double digits with her 10.
