CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Niners complete an eight-game road stretch, with a pivotal three-game series at FIU in Miami Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday's doubleheader starts at 4 p.m., while the finale's first pitch is at noon Sunday.
Last time out, Charlotte (15-29, 6-12 C-USA) split a doubleheader at Gardner-Webb April 18. The Niners claimed a 6-1 victory in game one, before falling in the nightcap 6-2. Haley Pace
became the school's all-time hits leader with a two RBI triple in the sixth inning.
Pace, who leads the 49ers in most offensive categories this season, now holds the program records in hits, runs scored, runs batted in, home runs and slugging percentage.
