CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte 49ers (9-14, 2-4) softball team will take on the Canisius College Golden Griffins (1-15, 0-0) on Wednesday for a midweek doubleheader at Sue M. Daughtridge Stadium. The first game is slated for a 2pm start with game two starting approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one.
Charlotte and Canisius will collide on Wednesday in a midweek doubleheader. The 49ers are coming off a 1-2 weekend after facing Conference USA opponent Marshall.
Kiersten Berrier had a career-high Sunday as Charlotte defeated the Herd 11-6. Berrier's 5-for-5 showing at the plate is a career-high for hits in a game, along with a career-high two doubles and season-high three runs scored.
