WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.— The Charlotte men's and women's track and field programs opened their 2019-20 indoor season at the JDL Early Bird Invitational at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C., Sunday, December 8. Nine 49ers cracked the program's top ten all-time indoor performances in their respective events led by school-record pole vault.
"I'm very happy with our results today, it was productive and turned out to be more than just a first meet rust buster with some very significant performances," said head coach . "The men showed a nice mixture of strong performances from both veterans as well as newcomers.
