Niner Nation will be greeted by several new features at Jerry Richardson Stadium for the 2019 football season. Here is a look at some of those additions as we approach the Aug. 29 home opener vs. Gardner-Webb:
SECURITY/METAL DETECTORS:
As Chancellor Philip Dubois stated in a recent letter, "there is nothing more important to us than ensuring the safety of our campus community." To that end, the campus will see increased security for large events. For Jerry Richardson Stadium, like many college and professional venues, that increased security will include the use of metal detectors at all entrances.
