Charlotte, N.C. Charlotte 49ers men's soccer senior defender Callum Montgomery and junior midfielder Teddy Chaouche earned United Soccer Coaches' Scholar honors. Montgomery was named first-team Scholar All-American and first-team Scholar All-South Region. Chaouche earned second-team Scholar All-South Region honors.
Montgomery is the eighth Niner to earn United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-American honors in the program's history. Montgomery earned United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-South Region honors last season as well. Chaouche is the 15th different Niner to earn United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-Region honors.
Last week, Montgomery was named first-team All-American by the United Soccer Coaches Association.
