Men's XC Team Selected to Compete in NCAA Championships for First Time in Program History

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - For the first time in program history, the men's cross country team was selected to compete in the NCAA XC Championships in Stillwater, Okla., on March 15 as announced by the NCAA on Sunday afternoon.

THE ROAD SO FAR
The 49ers started the cross country season at the Mountains to Sea Open in Boone, N.C., where they ran a 6.4k race. Charlotte claimed the top-three spots, all with personal record times, as Scudder, Arredondo and freshman Avery Cannon finished 1-2-3. The men's team won the meet with a total of 18 points, followed by App State's 43 points.
