CHARLOTTE, N.C. - After a dominating weekend at the Live in Lou Cross Cross Country Classic in Louisville, Ky., the Charlotte 49ers men's cross country team moved up seven spots to No. 8 in the Boost Treadmill XC polls as announced Thursday.
"It's nice for the team to get a little recognition for their efforts this summer and fall thus far," head coach Joe Lynn said. "I don't usually get too much excited about rankings, but this is well earned."
Due to the pandemic, the USTFCCCA national rankings are not happening until 2021, so Boost Treadmill put together a group of retired coaches to create a cross country poll each week in its place.
