Birmingham, Ala. - The men's track team finished first with 135 points and the women's team finished third with 78.50 points at the Conference Championships. Head Coach Bob Olesen was named the men's Coach of the Year after helping lead the team to its eighth indoor title. 12 medals were awarded to the athletes and 18 personal records were totaled on the day.
MEN'S PERFORMANCES
Terrell Adams was off to a strong start on day two as he placed first in the shot put with a mark of 19.02m (62'-5"), giving the men's team 10 more points to their total.
