49ers' Last Time Out
The 49ers battled tooth and nail with in-state rivals Appalachian State Tuesday night, but ultimately settled for a 1-1 draw after double overtime. The 49ers struggled to match their opponent's physicality all night, and despite testing the Mountaineer goalkeeper with 22 shots, Charlotte tallied just one goal. Redshirt sophomore Daniel Bruce broke the deadlock in the ninth minute for the 49ers, increasing his season tally to four, third most on the team.
