The No. 17 Charlotte men's soccer team bounced back with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over the New Mexico Lobos on Saturday night, but things won't get any easier as the 49ers head south to Clemson, S.C. to take on the No. 5 Tigers at 7 p.m. on Tuesday night.
49ers' Last Time Out
The Niners hosted the New Mexico Lobos on a rainy Saturday night with Hurricane Matthews moving up the coast and held on for a pivotal 2-1 win. Sophomore forward Daniel Bruce was fouled twice in the opposing 18-yard box and senior midfielder Brandt Bronico stayed composed to slot home both penalty kicks to jump out to a 2-0 lead after 35 minutes.
