Charlotte, N.C. – The Charlotte 49ers men's basketball program, which is playing its first season under head coach Ron Sanchez, announce the remainder of their 2018-19 schedule with the release of the Conference USA schedule. The league schedule includes an innovative format designed to attract the NCAA Men's Basketball Committee's attention.
"This new scheduling model will definitely benefit our league to help protect the top teams in Conference USA," Sanchez said. "Hopefully it will help get a second team into the NCAA Tournament. I have noticed in the past that good teams from our league have been left out of the NCAA Tournament field.
