DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Charlotte 49ers men’s golf successfully defending their 2015 Davidson Invitational title securing the 2016 crown on Tuesday afternoon. Charlotte took a one stroke advantage overnight and turned it into an eight-shot win over Cleveland State. On the individual side, Thomas Rowland also defended his title firing a two-under 70 on Tuesday to win by seven.
“I’m excited for Thomas picking up his second career win,” exclaimed Head Coach Ryan Cabbage. “He played fantastic in all three rounds under some tough, windy conditions. Seth Gandy was also able to put together a good first and third round for us today.
