CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte 49ers men's golf team hits the road for Vestavia Hills, Ala. to compete in the Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate. In last year's tournament, the Niners finished 10th and were led by Conor Purcell's top-20 finish.
"We're going to see a little bit bigger golf course this week," began Head Coach Ryan Cabbage. "We've played some rounds this past week to prepare us. It's a terrific, fun golf course to play. Birdies are out there, but you have to play well to get them."
The five-man crew for this weekend includes John Gough, Connor Armistead, Ben Woodruff, Marc Boucher and Carson Ownbey.
