HUMBLE, Texas – The Charlotte 49ers men's golf team held on to a tie for fourth after day two at the All-American Intercollegiate. John Gough is tied for second overall after his second-straight round of 70 (-2).
Gough rifled off seven-straight pars before a birdie on eight to finish the front one-under. He would birdie two of his first three holes on the back and finish with a bogey on 17 for his two-under second round. Gough is currently two strokes behind the leader.
Ben Woodruff shot a 74 (+2) in Monday's second round.
