CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte 49ers men's golf team will begin the spring slate of their schedule this weekend when they head to Humble, Texas for the All-American Intercollegiate. This marks the first of five tournaments the team will play in before the conference championships in April.
"What a great event to kick off our spring season," began Head Coach Ryan Cabbage. "To get started on a golf course that hosts a PGA Tour just a few weeks after we are there and against an extremely strong group of teams is awesome."
Conor Purcell, John Gough, Tyler Young, Marc Boucher and Harvey Byers will be the five-man squad representing the 49ers in Texas.
