CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte 49ers men's golf team will make their annual appearance in the Linger Longer Invitational that gets underway on Sunday in Georgia. Last week, the Niners finished seventh in the 17-team field of the Auburn Tiger Invitational. This week marks the final event before hosting the Irish Creek tournament in early April.
"I want to see how a couple of these guys respond to some decent play in our last tournament," began Head Coach Ryan Cabbage. "Will we continue to see improvement and validation in their performance? At the same time, I want to see how a couple of these guys respond to a bit adversity from not performing very well at the Auburn event.
