DAVIDSON, N.C. – Charlotte men's golf fired a four-under 284 in round one followed by a three-under round of 285 to lead the River Run Collegiate by 15 shots after 36 holes of play. Matt Sharpstene is the field's individual leader after a five-under 67 in round one followed by a one-under 71 in the nightcap. Ben Woodruff, Trey Tobias and Dongjin Park all find themselves in the top-10 through two rounds.

Sharpstene drained seven birdies in his opening 18 while a couple of bogies dropped him down to 67.
