GREENSBORO, Ga. – The Charlotte 49ers men’s golf team made the biggest jump of any team climbing up four spots to conclude the Linger Longer Invitational in sixth. The Niners saved their best round for last posting a six-under 282 in the final round.
“I’m really proud of these guys today,” started Head Coach Ryan Cabbage. “We did a lot of good things, especially today. We needed a good round, and to shoot the second best round of the day against this field is really good.”
Thomas Rowland nearly tied his career best round firing a four-under 68 on Tuesday that included four birdies and two eagles.
