CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte 49ers men's golf team compiled a sixth place finish shooting a team score of 290 in Monday's second round. The Niners are just 10 shots off the lead and more importantly, just three shots back of the top four which is needed at the end of Tuesday. The top four teams after round three and any playoffs necessary, will advance to Wednesday's match play semifinals. Tyler Young turned in a team best 71 (-1) on Monday.
Young opened with nine-straight pars before moving to two-under with birdies on 10 and 12.
